Week of Fashion in Las Vegas

It's a little ironic that Las Vegas doesn't have an official "fashion week", when every February and August the 3 largest convention halls in the city (MBCC, LVCC and Sands Expo) host the biggest fashion trade shows in the US. Brands from Levi's to French Connection, True Religion, 7 for all mankind to Robert Graham to Free People to Rebecca Minkoff and so much more exhibit at these shows to promote their latest lines.

This year, sponsored by PROJECTLV, Zappos presented a very successful fashion event on the opening night of MAGIC and PROJECT. On Tuesday, February the 21st, Live from Zappos Headquarters, Zappos showed some of the latest lines from brands such as Robert Graham, Ted Baker, Scotch & Soda, Dolce Vita and Levi's just to name a few. In my opinion, the best parts of the show were during the Velana Luxury show, a local Las Vegas brand by Anna Welnianko, and the 2 student designers from The Art Institute of Las Vegas, Flor De Lis Guior and Meliza Bautista.
