Want to know what I think about the business of Marijuana?
When you think of marijuana, what usually come to mind? Concerts, parties, Bob Marley, Snoop, a group of folks sitting around a bonfire getting high?
After all these years I’m convinced that is what they (I’ll explain shortly who I think “they” are) want us to think. If all we see are sloppy drunk people on TV & billboards, there wouldn’t be a lot of alcohol flying off the shelves would it? Nothing glamorous about that. Instead, the commercials will flood us with glamorous people and parties having a great time! My question is, why don’t “they” show us commercials about people healing from marijuana?
I attended the MJBIZCON expo recently in Las Vegas and I gotta’ say, it’s an eye opener. It is a legit business. I’m not saying I’m pro-marijuana, but I am saying it’s worth taking the time to do research on the industry. I’m not trying to change your mind or convince you it’s the best thing for you, I’m just saying take the time to learn about it. This is coming from someone who is not a fan or user of marijuana.
Fast forward 45 days later, research will tell you that there are natural resources out there that will heal our illnesses. Why do you think it’s so important to save the forests? I now believe Cannabis is one of those key natural resources. In my opinion, they have been suppressing this information, because “they”, pharmaceutical corporations, stand to lose a lot of money from this legalization. I would be comfortable to say that the industry is probably here to stay. It’s definitely growing, considering that a third of adults in California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon and Washington state use marijuana, according to an August 2017 study by Ana Hory, the CEO of California-based Enlucem. I believe that the medicinal and healing purposes that these plants have are good enough reason as to why we should legalize medicinal marijuana nationally. Recreational, is a whole’nother topic.
